- Be sure you have ATAK and UAS tool installed on either your phone connected to controller or Smart controller/ RC Pro. Not compatible with RC or RC 2
- Open up ATAK and accept all permissions and set your callsign. Tap on quick connect if available and connect to your server. IF quick connect is not available tap three bars in top right, settings, Network Preferences, Network connection preferences, manage server connections.
- Tap 3 dots in top right, tap add, and enter your server information.
- Once you are connected go back to the main screen. Tap three bars in top right and look for UAS Tool. if it doesn't show go to plugins and load it.
- Once in UAS Tool it will ask to install ATAKGo and ATAkGoV5. Install both.
- Allow any permissions
- Wait for ATAKGo registration to say Activated then tap return to UAS Tool
- You should see your drone name and a play button. Tap the play button and your drone's camera feed should show.
- Tap the top three bars again and go to settings. You should see UAS Tool preferences.
- If you wish to change the name of your drone, it can be done in callsign override.
- Make sure Broadcast CoT is checked and go to video Broadcast.
- Tap Video Broadcast destination and select RTSP-Push
- Tap Video destination IP Address, select Add New endpoint and type in your server URL example: training.gotak.cloud
- Tap on the url after confirming and it will ask to update observer URL. always select yes
- In video destination port make sure it says 8554
- In video broadcast identifier enter the path for your feed. Example: live/UAS-test
- Scroll down and make sure Reliable P2P is checked
- Go back to the main ATAK screen with UAS tool pulled up. Tap the wrench icon on bottom of drone view, you will see icons show up on map. Tap the play button at top. It should turn green and your drone is broadcasting
- To view feed from another device, tap on the drone icon on the map and select the video play button.
